Imran Amir, MD

Dr. Amir is founder and director of City Dermatology. He is in practice of dermatology and dermatologic surgery for past decade in philadelphia and suburban areas. He is dedicated to provide the highest level and most cutting edge dermatologic care to his patients. In his practice, patients are always first and foremost priority. He is Board Certified in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine. He is a fellowship trained MOHS surgeon and a procedural dermatologist. He specializes in treatment of general skin diseases, skin cancer, and melanoma. He received his dermatology training at the highly regarded Dermatology Training program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. Subsequently, he trained in Mohs Micrographic and Reconstructive Surgery and cosmetic dermatologic surgery at nationally acclaimed Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Medical Center in New York. Where he was mentored by Dr Ellen Marmur MD, a pioneer and highly respected expert in the field of Mohs Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatologic and Laser Surgery.

His area of special expertise is in both surgical and non-surgical treatment of skin cancer and melanoma from simple to the most complex cases. He offers highest skin cancer cure rates to his patients by using Mohs Micrographic surgery for skin cancer removal.  At Mount Sinai he received vigrous training under directorship of Ellen Marmur, MD and David Kriegel, MD in the Mohs Micrographic and Reconstructive Surgery, both of whom are regarded as authorities in the field.

He also trained with internationaly regarded cosmetic dermatologist and author, Bruce Katz MD in New York City to perform facial rejuvenation and body sculpting and contouring by using various lasers, soft tissue fillers, BOTOX, liposuction, and combination treatments for aging face and body.  His training also included trainign in vericose vein surgery under Dr Steven Elias MD. 

He is experienced in the use of all latest lasers for anti-aging, acne scarring, melasma, rosacea, blood vessels, and hair removal.  He is experienced with lasers such as Fraxel, Titan, VBeam, Nd:Yag, Diode, CO2, Erbium Glass, Excimer, and Erbium lasers.

He has presented at many premier dermatology meetings and has published a number of journal articles in his field.  He was the recipient of the prestigious “Stelwagon Award” by the College of Physicians of Philadelphia for his outstanding research projects during residency.  He is a Diplomate of The American Board of Dermatology, The American Board of Internal Medicine, and a Fellow of American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, and American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.

Daniel Dvorkin, MD


Dr. Dvorkin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and trained in dermatology at Johns Hopkins Hospital.  Subsequently, he served for four years overseas in the Armed Forces. Subsequently started a private practice of Dermatology in Downingtown where he served Downingtown and Chester County area for over  three decades.  He specializes in General and Surgical Dermatology with emphasis on evaluation and treatment of skin cancer and chronic skin diseases. He is highly dedicated and compassionate physician who has been recognized by local and regional media a number of times over the years

He has been featured in news articles in USA Today,  Daily Local News, Chester County and listed in the  ‘Top Docs’ of Chester County in Main Line Magazine.He also devotes time to seeing needy patients at two clinics in Chester County.  He also served as a board member of township health Board.
He recently moved to City Dermatology Exton office after practicing on Downingtown for three decades. He continues to see patients part-time in the Exton office with Dr Imran Amir. He remains eager to  seeing both his old and new patients in his new office.
 In addition Dr Dvorkin enjoys gardening, jogging, and spending time with his six grandchildren.
